In the position of Director of Development and Construction, Adam Mitchell coordinates and oversees COMVEST’s development and construction projects. His background in civil engineering and construction, as well as his Master of Real Estate Development, make him the perfect fit for the demands of the company’s pipeline.
Since early 2013, Adam has managed the development and construction of multiple COMVEST projects including a $4.2M Walgreen’s in Minden, Louisiana, a $3.5M Shopko Hometown in Hardin, Montana, and various other acquisitions and tenant backfills. Prior to joining the company, Adam was an on-site Development Associate overseeing the development, construction, and management of a $23M, 350 unit student housing redevelopment project in Tampa, Florida for Capstone Real Estate Investments (Birmingham, Alabama).
Adam graduated from Mississippi State University in 2007 with a degree in civil engineering. He also worked as a civil engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana and accumulated over five years of experience in engineering and construction projects. In 2012, Adam obtained a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Clemson University and in 2013 he earned his Mississippi Real Estate Salespersons License. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
