As the founder and Managing Member in COMVEST Properties, LLC, and its affiliate development company, Net Lease Developers, LLC, Brooks coordinates all company developments and project financing. He is further responsible for the creation and maintenance of retail and investor relationships.

He began his commercial real estate career in 1979 as Southwestern Real Estate Representative for Wendy's International. He left corporate real estate in 1996 to become Vice President of Brokerage Services at Grubb & Ellis Sawyer Commercial Real Estate. Prior to the formation of COMVEST Properties, LLC, he was Vice President of Development and a member of the Executive Committee for a Louisiana based Development Company.

Brooks graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. In 2006 he completed the Harvard University Graduate School of Design Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has served as Chairman of the ICSC Mississippi State Governmental Affairs. Brooks is also an active member of the Mississippi Commercial Association of REALTORS and a member of the Urban Land Institute. In addition to Mississippi, he holds Real Estate Broker's licenses in Louisiana and Texas. Brooks is a Life Member of the University of Mississippi Alumni Association, the Harvard University Graduate School of Design Alumni Association, the Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation Alumni Association, and serves on the Academic Real Estate Initiative Alumni Advisory Board at Harvard University. He is a member of the Harrison County Republican Party Executive Committee and served as a Harrison County Commissioner on Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour's Governor's Commission for Recovery, Rebuilding & Renewal in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Tim’s expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and lease/contact negotiation is vital as Director of Leasing and Retailer Relations. His creative approach to meeting retailer locational needs has led him to being among the industry’s top producing leasing professionals. His relationship focused methods are at the core of his record of leasing retail space in over forty centers in more than sixteen states from malls to lifestyle centers, to outparcels and neighborhood strip centers.

Tim began his career in 1984 with his father, developing grocery/drug store neighborhood shopping centers. Following his attendance at the International Council of Shopping Center’s (ICSC) first Leasing Institute, he was recruited to Jim Wilson & Associates where he spent the next seven years honing skills in market analysis, merchandise mix evaluation, tenant mix analysis, prospecting and salesmanship. In 1994, Tim joined General Growth Properties where for eighteen years he excelled in all aspects of the leasing discipline:  expansions, redevelopments, remerchandising and repositioning of retail properties throughout the Southeast.

Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture at Mississippi State University. His designations include Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) as designated by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) as conferred by the International Council of Shopping Centers. He also holds a Mississippi Real Estate Broker’s License.

As Director of Acquisitions and Investment Sales, Doug identifies and acquires redevelopment opportunities that fit into the COMVEST Business Plan. A partner in the firm, he directs the sale of retail properties owned by Net Lease Developers, LLC.

Licensed in 1994, he began his career with Grubb & Ellis|Sawyer Commercial as a commercial and investment broker. He earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2000. In 2001 he designed and implemented a recruiting and training program that grew the company into the largest commercial real estate firm in the state of Mississippi. From 2007 until joining COMVEST, Doug served as President of Grubb & Ellis|Sawyer Commercial. He was the recipient of the Gulf Coast Association of Realtor’s Commercial Diamond Award for 2002, 2004 & 2005, for the highest volume of commercial & investment sales in the Association. In 2005 and 2006 he was awarded Grubb & Ellis’s Circle of Excellence Award, which honors the top 3 to 5 percent of all Company professionals worldwide. Doug served as President of the Mississippi CCIM Chapter in 2010, he is a member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, a charter member of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society and Chairman of the Mississippi Chapter, as well as a member of the Gulf Coast Board of REALTORS, Mississippi Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, the Mississippi Commercial Association of REALTORS and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Doug holds a Mississippi Real Estate License.

In the position of Development Manager, Adam Mitchell coordinates and oversees COMVEST's development and construction activities. Adam joined COMVEST in early 2013 and is deeply involved with all of the projects in the company's pipeline. His background in civil engineering and construction make him a perfect fit for the demands of COMVEST's many projects in various stages of development.

Adam previously worked for Capstone Real Estate Investments in Birmingham, Alabama.  He was the on-site Development Associate overseeing the development, construction, and management of a $23 million dollar, 350-unit student housing redevelopment project in Tampa, FL. 

Adam graduated from Mississippi State University in 2007 with a degree in civil engineering.  He also worked as a civil engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana and accumulated over five years of experience in engineering and construction projects.

In 2012 Adam obtained a master's degree in Real Estate Development from Clemson University and in 2013 he earned his Mississippi Real Estate Salespersons License. He is ARGUS DCF and Developer Software Certified as well as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

As Marketing and Political Affairs Director, Wendy coordinates and implements marketing projects for COMVEST Properties, LLC and Net Lease Developers, LLC. Her responsibilities include public relations,social media, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness. Also a registered Mississippi lobbyist, she provides representation and advocacy of COMVEST's interests.

Wendy has been a licensed Sales Associate of COMVEST Properties LLC since 2005 and earned the Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation in 2007. She is a member of the Mississippi Association of REALTORS, the Mississippi Commercial Association of REALTORS, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the ICSC Political Action Committee, the International Economic Development Council, the Mississippi Economic Council, the Coast Chamber of Commerce, and the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Mississippi Renaissance Garden Foundation, Inc, and is the Vice Chairman of the Harrison County Republican Executive Committee.

In August of 2012 Wendy earned the HootSuite Certified Professionals designation. Her training in social media software tools enhances COMVEST's online communications and marketing strategy.

As Administrative Assistant, Erica Davis provides support in the day to day operations of COMVEST’s executives and associates. Erica’s 15 years of office experience, made her the right candidate for our front office. From greeting visitors and fielding phone calls to scheduling appointments and travel, she is the first point of contact for any member of the COMVEST team.

Erica holds an Associate of Science degree in Human Resource Management and is pursuing a BA in Reverse Logistics.
