Walgreens Construction Underway in Minden, LA

Northwest corner of Homer and Fincher Roads in Minden, Louisiana. The 13,650 square foot store will

feature a drive thru and offer convenient access from Homer Road and Goode Avenue. Construction is expected to be complete by mid-October.

COMVEST Properties, LLC, a commercial real estate development company based in Biloxi, Mississippi, is the owner and developer of the site. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture at Mississippi State University. His designations include Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) as designated by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and Senior Certified Leasing Specialist (SCLS) as conferred by the International Council of Shopping Centers. He also holds a Mississippi Real Estate Broker’s License.

From Diamondhead, Tim and his wife, Jo, are “Boomers” – participants who assisted KaBoom!  in their monumental achievement of bringing people along the Gulf Coast together after Hurricane Katrina in Building over 120 playgrounds in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Tim describes himself as a Master Shrimp Boiler and a wanna be Duck Commander noting that he “is a pretty good bird hunter, thanks to 3 German Shorthaired Pointers”.

COMVEST Team Grows By Two

Biloxi, Mississippi (March 21, 2013) – COMVEST Properties recently welcomed Administrative Assistant, Erica G. Davis, and Retail Development Coordinator, Adam Mitchell.

Erica’s 15 years of office experience, made her the right candidate for the COMVEST front office. From greeting visitors and fielding phone calls to scheduling appointments and travel, she is the first point of contact for any member of the COMVEST team. Erica holds an Associate of Science degree in Human Resource Management and is pursuing a BA in Reverse Logistics.

Adam assists the Director of Development with the development of single tenant retail properties and the redevelopment of shopping centers.  He previously worked for Capstone Real Estate Investments in Birmingham, Alabama as the on-site Development Associate overseeing the development, construction, and management of a $23 million dollar, 350-unit student housing redevelopment project in Tampa, FL.  Adam graduated from Mississippi State University in 2007 with a degree in civil engineering.  He also worked as a civil engineer in New Orleans, Louisiana and accumulated over five years of experience in engineering and construction projects. In 2012 Adam obtained a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Clemson University. He is ARGUS DCF and Developer Software certified as well as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
